I am your pet artist, Annie. I am a lifelong Oregonian, originally from Southern Oregon I slowly made my way north to the luscious Willamette Valley. 

Growing up in the wooded Oak Hills of Gold Hill with no close neighbors and no internet, I passed my time drawing. As for as long as I can remember my father nurtured my Artistic imagination and encouraged me to be creative. We had a slew of animals on our “ranch” and they were my first friends and models. We had bunnies. They were some of the first subjects I remember drawing. I became fascinated with the work of Beatrix Potter and wanted to emulate her. 

  My entire life has curated me into the professional pet artist I am proud to be today.

  I have taken countless Classes and workshops to bring my skills to the next level, always practicing and furthering my skills. Some would categorize me as self taught because I did not seek an art degree, but that would be a mislabelling. I have taken multiple college level classes surrounding art as well as endless self study.  I have learned much from other artists both in watching them work, conversations, and lectures. 

 I love the reaction I get from my clients when I reveal their custom portraiture of their pets. I empathize with the deep bond that is formed with animals. I would never judge someone for loving their pet too much. My portrait reveals have been met with tears on multiple occasions. I started this business to honor and capture pets with a lifelong keepsake.
